Jennifer Kaldenberg, O.T.R./L., M.S.A., S.C.L.V., F.A.O.T.A.
Occupational Therapist
Ms. Kaldenberg is the director of the Occupational Therapy Service at the New England Eye. An occupational therapist, she works collaboratively with New England Eye optometrists to help people with visual impairment maximize their independence in their daily activities. She works with children and adults with low vision or neuro-impairment caused by brain injury or stroke, for example.
Ms. Kaldenberg is an Assistant Professor of Vision Rehabilitation at the New England College of Optometry, and has taught at the college since 2001.
She has a special interest in the vision problems of the elderly, and works with New England Eye's Elders Right to Sight Program, a van-based program that delivers eye care and low vision services to elderly patients. Ms. Kaldenberg also conducts research on the impact of the environment on visual function.
She earned an MSA from Central Michigan University and a BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire.
